Acquired basic education at St Peter’s Mumias Primary from 1964 to 1970 and joined Mumias Muslim secondary. Later joined Eregi TTC in 1982 to 1985.
Assisted the Friends Primary School, Namundera, to record the highest min score that hasn’t been broken since he left as the deputy,2000-2004. Worked as an Executive Board member of Namundera Friends Secondary. Worked with IRT as an instructional coach in the Kwa Njenga cluster-Nairobi from 2017 to 2019
