The name of the organization is SOCIAL ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT& DEVELOPMENT(SEED) herein after referred to as ‘the Community Based Organization (CBO)’’.
The organization is based in Kenya (E.A), Western province; Kakamega County at the -Counties and it suffices are based in Malaha and Khaunga Towns.
To build a society where gender equality is not just a goal but a reality, where young people and women are valued, respected, and given equal opportunities to succeed in all aspects of life. We envision a future where every individual is empowered to break through barriers, challenge stereotypes, and contribute meaningfully to a more inclusive and equitable world.
SEED CBO is dedicated to empowering and uplifting children, youth and women by providing them with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive personally, economically, and professionally. Through education, mentorship, advocacy, and community engagement, we strive to create a world where every child, young person and woman has the opportunity to reach their full potential and become agents of positive change in their communities.

Education: We recognize the transformative power of education and seek to provide educational opportunities that empower children, young people and women to pursue their aspirations and achieve their goals

We are working to continuously support the society.
1. Supported payments of school fees for over 73 girls in both high school and college
2. Trained over 50 children between the age of 10 and 16 years on basic computers skills
3. Over 200 children between the ages of 8 to 14 years improved their numeracy and literacy skills through our out of school learning camps.
4. Partnered with Zizi Afrique Foundation to successfully carry out the assessment of life skills and values in Kakamega county. SEED CBO also partnered with Usawa Agenda to carry out household-based assessment in numeracy and literacy in Kakamega county.
5. Trained 500 youths on values and life skills.
6. Runs the best girls soccer team in the western Kenya region and recently promoted to national super league.
7. Supported and guided over 10 women and youth groups apply and access government business start up capital funds
